OakCreek Kids
OakCreek Kids
Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (Luke 18:16)
Jesus loves children and so do we! We believe the parents are the primary teachers of their children. That is why we give your kids take home sheets. You can teach them through the week what they learned at OakCreek. This helps you know what your child learned and you can grow together.

For your child's safety, all of our childcare workers have had background checks.
Check-In Procedures
Please check-in before the service at the welcome table. Fill out an information card and we will give you a card with your child's name and an assigned number on it. Return the card when you pick up your child. This ensures the right person will pick up your child. Also, you can give us your cell phone number. Leave it on vibrate and we will call you if your child needs your assitance during the service.
You are not required to put your children in these classes. We will make our ministries available, but you are always welcome to have your children participate in church with you. You make the call!
Our OakCreek Kids coordinator is a mom with years of experience with children. Please contact Martha Sides with any questions you might have at sidesclan@sbcglobal.net.
During the Sunday Morning Service we offer these ministries:
Acorns (Nursery - Newborn to 2 Years Old)

Seedlings (3 - 5 Years Old)

Young Oaks (6 - 10 Years Old)

Our Young Oaks stay in the cafeteria with the adults through the
music worship for the first 20 minutes. Then they go to the children's
area down the hall. On the first Sunday of the month they stay
with the adults through the whole service. Pastor Mike includes
them in the sermon by having them do skits or helping him with
illustrations in the sermon. The sermon is made more kid friendly
the first Sunday of the month.
